After using TCP Optimizer, my internet connection improve a little bit. Latency in my online game improve, reduce lag. I'm also do others tweak so I don't really know what happen yet. ^_^
Overall this is a good software! Try it!

Hi I tried the TCP Optimizer and for me it made no difference.I guess that my laptop a Dell Inspiron was already fully optimized by the manufacturer. Pity it is still SLOW at 1.88Mbps Download speed and 0.20Mbps Upload Speed. Am I traveling fast or what.....LOL

I had the privilege of downloading and using the 3.0.6 version of TCP Optimizer about a week ago to optimize my computer. I found that it helped to increase the speed of my uploads and download significantly on my cable service. It changed my downloads from about 13 mb/sec to 20 and my uploads from 3 mb/sec to 5. I am using window 7 home version.

Opinion

The program gives an error message asking for admin privileges to make changes. But the same message continued after logging in admin account. May be windows Vista Ultimate SP2, or Microsoft Security Essentials, is blocking changes to registry by program.

I could display the messages for changes to the registry which were denied, for the suggested configuration. Then I manually created the registry Keys using REGEDIT. The changes made worked fine, now it is possible to send a continuous stream of voice in Skype without cuttings.

Don,t know to much about optimizing the TCP,but the program did change some parameters and it does allow the user to manually do so as well. The best part is that it is free and it seems to be the only free one around.Time will tell if the changes are beneficial. If a person is so inclined they could study how to best use the program from other sources on the internet

Excellent little utility

This is a superb little programme. When i had sky installed i was dismayed to find the 'up to eight meg broadband' was in fact just over 1 meg. Browsing the sky forums i found a recommendation for tcp optimiser.On downloading and running the programme my broadband speed shot up to just over 7 meg and has been consistent and reliable ever since. I have recommended this to lots of people and a lot have found a great increase in their broadband speed. I cannot recommend this programme highly enough, it is a small download and very easy to use. Try it, you won't regret it.

I am most impressed with this tool. After first use, using the simple option of allowing the programme to male all the settings for me, I noticed a significant improvement in my internet connection. I then read through the extensive Help files and applied a few tweaks recommended in there. Now my surfing flies! Thanks for a great programme!

I've been trying to use drTCP for years and, aside fm Rwin and MTU, i've been in the fog.
Question to you is why the 513,000 Rwin you choose, when I run the program.

Review of TCP Optimizer

Wonderful product which actually increased my internet performance and is very easy to use - for those who just want a "click and go" product, this product offers that by way of clicking "optimal setting"! For advanced users, they may choose to manually tweak the settings.

Downloading via peer-to-peer seems to be speeded up.

Really worked!!!

I was having trouble getting my downloads to full speed. I saw a post on a forum about TCP Optimizer so gave it a try. My downloads were fixed immediately. Thanks for a great product.
